John Shearer has been a freelance contributor to several departments of the News Sentinel since 2006. Martin was hired following the failed three-year tenure of Anderson, promising to bring an exciting style of play along with high-level recruits. On March 27, 2011, after three seasons at Missouri State, Martin was hired as the head coach of the Tennessee Volunteers.
